Ensamble

"Les Ensemble"

This rare occurrence was captured on film by an amateur nature photographer. In the wild, these creatures are ever so elusive and tend to avoid one another YET here we have proof that "heat-leeching" will indeed prove motivation enough to encourage rare encounters such as the one pictured here.

I should like to draw attention to the mature Hanselus Whineicus Maincoonitus (BOTTOM RIGHT), note that although this male is determined to absorb the heat from the female Bella-boo-rabula Puppyica (CENTER) he is still poised to leap away at the first disturbance. The sleeping Apache Stinkinus Pee-Perpetus (BOTTOM LEFT) however seems unperturbed and enjoys a deep restful slumber.

BELLA'S BIRTHDAY!

What do you get when you add the world's cutest neighborhood kids, a beautiful sunny spring day in southern California, super cake pops, bubbles, fetch, and a puppy that's about to be all grown up? One awesome puppy party!

Although our little girl doesn't turn 2 until later this month, Jay and I decided to have her puppy birthday party while my parents were in town. For those of you who weren't able to make it, here are some of the highlights.

A Visit to the BOOtique

So as some of you may know we recently started Bella Boo, our Labrador Retriever, in an obedience training program through our local Petsmart. All in all she is doing well and is currently working on heeling on the leash, touch-release stay, wait, leave it, etc. She is even the top of her class (we're such proud parents!).

TICK TAC TOE -- Three white dogs in a row!

But mine is still the cutest!

As a special treat for her improvement, mamma and papa sent our Boo to the BOOtique in Petsmart for a relaxing nail grind and a 15 minute brush out, she's so spoiled! At the end, the groomer even sprayed her with a conditioner that smelled like fresh baked yellow cake because our Boo is so sweet!
